I have never felt more disrespected and humiliated shopping at a store in my life. I walked in simply trying to buy the new AirPods and was immediately treated like a criminal for absolutely no reason. A security guard followed me around the store the entire time and eventually told me to leave, despite me doing nothing suspicious whatsoever.
Let’s be honest about what this looked like: racial profiling. I’m a person of color and somehow that alone was enough to make me a target. It’s disgusting that in 2026 people still have to deal with this while trying to shop at a corporate retail store filled with cameras, employees, and security systems everywhere.
Nobody should have to feel intimidated, watched, or singled out just for existing in a store. The security guard gained absolutely nothing from harassing me except making a paying customer feel unwelcome and degraded.
If this is how this store treats customers, then it’s no surprise physical retail continues to die. Do better.
Terrible customer service, there is a sassy security guard that wants to profile people knowing barely any crime happens in that area. At the end of the day its best buy why would anyone try to steal from there. It’s ridiculous he needs to do better. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR. It’s 2026 and racism still exists it’s super ridiculous.
Terrible customer service no one offered to help us we were immediately profiled as high school student and asked to leave threatening to “call his buddies” “call our parents” before i could even buy anything i was told to leave. As if they never seen teenagers they need to hire new security
