I came into Best Buy a few days ago and I was very unimpressed with the customer service at Best Buy In Colonial Heights, VA. it’s very concerning in today’s society when it comes to the customer service, it seems like people have no care in the world to want to help customers that walk through their door. Me and my mother came in there to ask a simple question regarding an error message that we kept receiving on our home computer, she politely asked an employee if he knew anything about computers and he referred us to “Geek Squad“, which is understandable being that they specialize in fixing electronics. Upon getting over there, we stood at the counter for about 10-15 minutes Aafor someone to assist us and nobody ever did. There was an employee who came up to the counter looking for something under the counter but didn’t even feel the need to acknowledge us, which really bothered us. My mom proceeded to walk over to the greeter for him to help or at least FIND someone who is able to help and he passed us to another employee who referred us right back to Geek Squad and at that point, we just left. It saddens me that certain individuals choose to work within this field but don’t even have the basic customer service skills to even acknowledge if a customer needs assistance.

Customer service is the key to a successful business and the lack of training was evident. Long lines, staff at the register with an attitude, and no manager intervened to offer support. I pre-ordered an item an no one was available for me to retrieve. I canceled my order and do not plan to return.

I don’t frequent this store and don’t usually recommend anyone come in here , came in here with mother so she can purchase a new laptop , stood there I know for at least 15 minutes before I had to ask for help. No acknowledgment whatsoever , the laptop dude helped an older lady and disappeared up to the front. And sent a young lady to help us. What turned into a 10 minute trip ended up being a little over 20 minutes. The laptop dude was just standing there when we first walked over to look around (she already knew what she wanted) (just browsing) no greeting or anything. Walked right past us to help this other woman who didn’t seemingly need help at all. But if you come in with bags from another store they watch you like a hawk. I’ll just stick with eBay thanks

Couldn't get anyone to help find what I wanted. There was one shown on shelf but couldn't find any in a box.
