I purchased a laptop last week for $1.000 for my business. I have a zoom business account and am on it weekly for meetings. I was having difficulty with the zoom download and wasn't sure what I needed to do...so, this afternoon I took it in to get help with an expert as to what I might have done or not to get it working smoothly. Here's the welcome I received after saying I just need help with my new laptop..."Sorry, you need an appointment"...hmmm..."go over to Customer Service"...I did. After letter her know what I needed, she said, "You need an appointment because SO MANY people come in needing help. " I look over at the "Geek Squad" desk and he's talking to 1 person. There are no others around the whole area to be seen. As she was checking the schedule I inquired if it was going to cost me just for this little help. She inquired if I had purchased the BEST BUY insurance thingy...you know, another $175 after I just spent $1000...Really???????? I didn't need my laptop taken apart or looked at just some guidance...for $175?????? Really???? I just shook my head and told her no thanks and I will NOT be coming back to Best Buy for anything...what a rip off...what horrible customer service...I WILL NOT be recommending this place either. I took my new $1000 Best Buy laptop over to Fruit Fixed (across the street), walked in, let them know my need for guidance and you know what? They were HAPPY to help me, figured out what I had missed loading, even offered a little guidance for my camera, and guess how much they charged me???? $0...yep, $0...Now THAT'S what I call true Customer Service where they actually CARE about people. Oh, and, I was only there for 10 mins...BEST BUY is a J.O.K.E. All they want is your $$$ vs loyalty

My one issue with Best Buy is that many times when I visit I have to wait extended periods of time for assistance.

Staff was extremely helpful. Got me in. Got me out. Got all the things I needed. Hook me up with all the best cameras I needed for the house and brand new phones and I know I know I know I didn't need a new TV but hey look I just couldn't beat the deal. Thank you guys. You guys always know how to hook it up. Appreciate it
