They scammed me ! they sneekily signed me up for "My Best Buy Total" in 2023 without my authorization and have been charging my credit card ~$196 yearly since. Must have been some cashier trick. I caught it only this year 2026 and they would only remove this year saying their "hands were tied" and could not refund after 30 days. So now I will now buy everything on amazon or elsewhere...

PLEASE, if you are planning to buy ONLINE, read this review FIRST. I wanted to gift a cousin a laptop; however, I do not understand computers and work night shifts, so going to the store can be tricky. We settled on my cousin buying online to make sure it was what he wanted, and I’d just pick it up. I checked the box to make sure it matched the order; it seemed fine. However, they gave me THE WRONG computer inside the right box, which is definitely misleading. Since the computer wasn’t for me, we just caught that mistake two weeks later, and when we went to switch, they said that they did not have the right one available. They said we’d have to PAY and SIGN up for premium, so we could return it. So wait… you don’t do the basic, which is to put the right product inside the box, and I have to pay for it? I buy it online because of my schedule and to make the process easier. But I am responsible to check each step (even packing), make sure you are doing your part, go back to fix your mistake in person (which defeats the purpose of buying online)… AND STILL PAY FOR IT? We tried talking to the manager, but they would just dismiss us with “pay extra, and you can return it.” If you understand electronics, know about prices, and have the time to go to the store, you will probably have a better experience. If you are planning for pick-up in-store or by online, BE CAREFUL and be ready to need to spend some time fixing their mistakes.
