I brought in my laptop today to fix an issue within my laptop, one I wasn’t able to troubleshoot down myself. I brought it to their “geek service”, where they took my laptop back and fixed it within less than two minutes. They charged me $42 for their service. I’m not angry at what it cost, as I’m happy to pay for services. I’m angry at the exchange that took place between myself and the “geek” member. I asked to know if she could tell me what they did, since they did it so fast, and she refused to tell me, stating that “they don’t reveal their methods.” Which makes sense I guess, but I just find it a waste of money and time for me to come back down here and pay $42 for them to press two buttons and fix the issue. After I expressed this concern to her she picked up a bit of an attitude and said something along the lines of “that’s just our policy. Sorry if we were able to fix the problem in less than five minutes” with a sarcastic tone. Which took me aback. It just seems like they charged me for something very silly and it frustrates me that I’ll have to come back here for them to fix the same issue, should it happen again in the future.

The gentlemen in the TV department were a huge help when choosing TV’s and educating me and my wife on the 60hz vs. 120
The staff is so welcoming and very helpful.

His customer service was outstanding—he was knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole process seamless. We really appreciated his effort and expertise. Highly recommend asking for Rob if you’re shopping at Best Buy!
