Today I went to Best Buy with my family to purchase pokémon cards for my children ages 5 & 6. Pokemon is important to our family because it’s something we all enjoy together. We got there before open, just as we did yesterday in hopes of each getting 1 box. Yesterday they didn’t receive the order and that was disappointing but we wanted to try again. Ahead of us were all adults buying Santa bags full of items. When it was our turn, we asked for 3 of the same box. This was supposedly against the rules, the rules that we had no way of knowing. Dylan was our cashier. While in line I had complimented Dylan’s smiley and easy going energy and was thinking that the experience was quite a cool one for my boys. Dylan was immediately incredibly rude to us and said that it was one sku per customer. We were confused because we were 4 customers. We began to offer that we could make separate payments if necessary, but that all we wanted was the same box for each of us. I was concerned that they would be prioritizing the adults over the children since pokémon is made for children too. I was looking for clarification on the rules. Dylan gave us zero opportunity to speak and was speaking to 2 adults without an ounce of respect or kindness. She continuously told us “Wait. Don’t speak. Wait for my manager” speaking over us as we tried to ask questions. We felt bad for the causing the wait for the other customers, so without understanding what was allowed and without speaking to the manager we selected what we could. I personally had to purchase the boxes that I was allowed and when my card was processing I said “I know that you’re stressed but you should allow people to speak.” Before i could finish my sentence Dylan told me “I’m not stressed. Have a nice day, have a nice day, have a nice day” with an extremely sarcastic and rude attidyide. It rattled me so much that I was in shock. We stepped aside and when I turned back to look in her direction she waved and smiled as the icing on the cake. Dylan knew how she was behaving. I’ve also worked in customer service for many years and have never felt so disrespected as the customer. It was crazy. Highly do not recommend. I’m hoping there is recourse for Dylan’s actions.

I love the call center bullshit where you can’t get a hold of anybody that actually works in the store because you guys are too lazy to actually do your job
