I came here to buy a new smartphone since my last one was reaching the end of its life and I had an okay experience. There are both good (customer service) and bad things (being sold the wrong things) that happened. Some of the bad is my fault but still should not have happened. The good: great customer service, people were friendly, I got all my questions answered about the product I was buying, the store was clean, and I was able to get in and out quickly. The bad: I was asked what product I wanted but was brought a different one and I didn't notice until I left the store and had made the phone mine (transfered data and put on case and everything). I ended up spending $200 more than I originally intended. Partially my fault for not checking (similar name wanted the Google pixel 9 but got a pixel 9 pro) but also the employee's for grabbing the wrong one. I was also sold a subscription that I misunderstood to be a protection plan for 2 years (like a lot of electronics do nowadays). The way the employee explained it sounded like a protection plan but I didn't realize till after that it was a subscription to their Best Buy total membership that includes a protection plan (for up to 2 years) as long as you maintain the membership. Again partially my fault for not reading the fine print on the screen that they make you agree to but the employee never once mentioned that it was a subscription, he only stated that it was "$180 to protect your phone". This cost me another $180 dollars per year (subscription auto renews but I'll be setting a cancel reminder once the year is up). Sorry usually don't leave reviews but this experience kind of left a sour taste in my mouth. Especially since I have had only good experiences at other Best Buys before.

Online ordering with local pickup is the way to go. My order ready for me in less than an hour, and easy to fetch on the drive home.

No one helped me. I spent 3 hours in the store and I was never approached to and sales men. The Geek squad lied about having an appointment and never assisted me and wanted to charge 150 for a diagnosis. Wost store ever
