I had an issue with an iPad purchased from here. Upon unboxing and setting up this iPad, when it came to the Touch ID part, the button was cracked. I reported this immediately and set up an appointment to have the device looked at by Geek Squad. I purchased the iPad April 27th. It came in and I set it up April 29th. I dropped it off on April 30th. I just received it back on May 29th. I was told the button repair would be $245. In which, the iPad costs $500. They automatically assumed I had something to do with it and did not believe it came in this way. I would pay for it if I knew I were at fault. Anyway, I just took my iPad and left. No updates until I contacted them anyway. Today I contacted Apple. I was told by my serial number that my device was never even looked at. No tech touched my iPad. However, my screen protector was removed. Apple is now taking over and replacing the iPad when it could have been resolved and replaced from the get go. Horrible experience. Never will I visit with Geek Squad again. They do not know what they are doing and giving false information to customers.
