As a business owner, I understand the challenges of staffing and always try to be patient and respectful. However, my experience at Best Buy on Monday, May 12 around 2:00 PM was deeply disappointing.
I waited over 20 minutes in the computer section without assistance. I then approached a manager—who had a beard and glasses—who said he’d send someone over. After another 30 minutes with no follow-up or support, I found the same manager near the front. When I explained I was still waiting, he asked if I had added my name to a kiosk list (which I was never informed about), then brushed me off mid-conversation, saying “Well, we’ve been busy,” and walked away.
This is the first negative review I’ve ever written. I always try to approach issues with kindness and give management the benefit of the doubt. But there is never an excuse for rudeness, especially when a customer is being calm and understanding. I left without being helped, feeling completely dismissed.
Ordered a washer to be delivered and waited all day for them to bring it and no one showed up. Went and spoke to the manager at the Rapid City SD location and he said he didn’t know how it got missed? Seriously!! Then he said they couldn’t deliver it for another week. Are you crazy!?? That manager in my opinion should be fired as he is not doing his job and his customer service skills are null and void. I sure wouldn’t want him managing my business. Loaded the damn thing in my truck and left. I will never do business with them again.
Very limited inventory. Good service employees but many sold out items that are not available in store. Best to buy on line and pickup or have delivered.
