Been here a few times since I've moved. Service is usually okay
I visited this location today intending to purchase a $3,000–$4,000 100-inch TV and spent 20–30 minutes in the home theater area. I asked three different employees for assistance. Each told me to wait and said someone would be sent over.
Despite this, no one ever came to help. It appeared that calls were made, but there was no follow-through. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time, I left the store without making the purchase.
From a management perspective, this is a breakdown in customer handoff, ownership, and accountability. When a customer requests help for a high-value purchase, someone should be assigned and follow through. If staffing is limited, expectations should be communicated clearly rather than repeatedly telling a customer to wait.
This location lost a guaranteed sale today. I’ll be taking my business to another Best Buy location going forward unless this service issue is addressed.
