I am working on a high stakes legal case for the past 3 years. I had 3 years of extremely sensitive and consequential legal documentation disappear... The computer malfunctioned 3 months after purchasing it from best buy. I went to geeksquad to get it repaired. I explained to the rep (Alex Jasmin) for about 10mins straight how critical the documents within the the laptop were and that none were to be removed from the device. He seemed to understand and assured me nothing would be lost. Fast forward 3 days. I check the laptop and to my surprise all the 3 years legal documentation vanished. I called Alex. He seemed very unconcerned by it. He stated "we took everything from the user folder". But somehow he left everything else behind. He explained remainder was "most likely" in my one drive. I checked 15 different emails logging into different onedrive accounts. Nothing was found. And guess what. Bestbuy is not taking any action to resolve this issue so far. This is grounds for a lawsuit. To take 3 years of hard legal work and have it erased is a severe issue. If you read this the indivisual responsible for this is Alex Jasmin at the BestBuy in Norwalk. I highly advise do NOT leave your device with this indivisual. I am filing an official complaint and potential lawsuit related to this issues.

What a wonderful welcome!!! Thank you Marcus and Arturo for making our visit fun. We came in to get a new TV and Arturo happens to be a Samsung specialist, since we only buy Samsung TV’s this was a great experience. We also got to chat with Marcus about other products and we learned that he is also from Hawaii, ohh how we miss the food and weather. We purchased a new TV but the warm welcome and wonderful customer service is what brings me back to this store. Thank you!
