Gary Grant was incredibly helpful and attentive. He took the time to listen and provided excellent support throughout the process.
A few observations before relaying my horrific experience.
First, if you take the time to look at the reviews for this store over the last six months, there is no way the Buckhead store rates a 4.2, at best it's a 2.0. Second, typical Best Buy tone deaf "customer service" responding to negative reviews by asking the customer to repost their review on other social medial platforms. Really? When we renovated our basement into a home theater a few years ago, we purchased all the AV, speakers and installation services through Best Buy and had a great experience. I recently purchased a Smart TV from Best Buy to replace my cable ready TV and one would think swapping the TV's our and connecting to the Best Buy installed surround sound system would be straight forward. While there are some very talented individuals in the Geek Squad, the company they outsource TV mounting is a complete joke. They came twice and both times failed to center the TV and couldn't connect the TV to the surround sound because they "don't do AV work." After sitting at home waiting on a confirmed installation appointment, experienced a few missed appointments with no notification. Two months later we finally had the Smart TV connected to the surround sound system. The last straw was I was told I needed to buy a specific cable in order to connect the Smart TV to the surround sound system. Went online and purchased the cable that was shown as being available for pickup at the Buckhead store in one hour. Went in the store 7 hours later and waited 50 minutes for assistance to only have to cancel my original order and purchase a cable they did have available in the store. Never again.
