Just brought my brand new $2,500 ROG Asus laptop to Geek Squad to diagnose random crashes. I paid them $100 for… drumroll, please… absolutely nothing. After their “thorough diagnostics,” I was told they couldn’t find anything wrong. No insights. No fixes. Just a cheerful “we don’t know.”
Oh, but wait! They did offer a genius level suggestion: “Maybe try reinstalling Windows 11 at home. That might help.” Fantastic. So for a hundred bucks, I got a shoulder shrug and a DIY project. If I wanted that level of support, I could’ve Googled it myself and kept the $100. I have attached the hundred dollar report I got back on the diagnostic of my computer
You know that sinking feeling when you realize you’ve just paid a premium to be told nothing of value? Yeah that. It’s the kind of “service” that makes you wonder if the Geek Squad logo should just be a shrugging emoji.
Would not recommend unless you’re nostalgic for the experience of paying to be ignored.

I went to buy a car charger. I told the man what I needed and he took me straight to it. Awesome!
