Stood around for 28 minutes starting at 5:10 pm until nearly 5:40 today just to get ignored by the two geek squad team members. I left because of their attention to detail mimics their customer service, I don’t want these kids fixing my electronics. Had a SCHEDULED appointment for 5:20 PM and when I arrived at 5:10 I was promptly ignored and not greeted or given a time frame or anything like that. Whoever the management is inside the Best Buy really should take the time to actually manage and see that these two employees who were working on October 20th at 5:10PM should be retrained. Robert was the only staff member in the geek squad wearing a name tag and his accomplice who had no name tag but had mid sized straight brown hair and facial hair were didn’t have a name tag but he seems to be the highest ranking staff member in the geek squad at that time. He walks right by me, brought his current customer to the front to make sure he could also confuse the heck out of her right in front of me. Then after he did that he still didn’t acknowledge me or say he’d be right with me or check me in, or again… even acknowledge that I was a potential customer. The whole experience had me wondering if I’d entered the twilight zone, for I seemed to be nothing but a ghost inside of the only Best Buy within a 20 mile radius of me, wishing that I could get acknowledged and given a time frame to just how much of my time they would intend to waste. That being said I have never and will never recommend anyone to go to THIS SPECIFIC geek squad for repairs strictly because out of the 3 times I’ve tried to get helped here.. every time I’m ignored for at minimum 20 minutes and I’m honestly so tired of staying silent about it. I would absolutely love for a member of management to reach out to me so we can talk about a strategy to ensure that customers are actually served promptly inside of the geek squad kiosk. However, due to the way these employees were acting I highly doubt anyone will ever reach back out to me. So I guess I’ll have to send an email to whoever their superior is because at this point I’ve got nothing to lose because my time has been wasted in abundance by this alleged “team”.
