I’ve had multiple Geek Squad appointments scheduled through the Best Buy in Rogers, Arkansas, and no one has shown up — not once, but several times. I confirmed the appointments, stayed home waiting, and received zero updates or cancellations. Total radio silence. This has wasted hours of my time and caused unnecessary stress as I have taken off work THREE times now for the 7 to 7 window. I reached out to customer service, but nothing was resolved. I have called/chatted over 25 times to the 1-800 number and have been rerouted, lied too and told they have “limited access to service agent routes”. I have documented transcripts of every lie and negligent action from this company.For a company that prides itself on customer support, this experience has been incredibly disappointing. At the very least, I expected communication, reliability, and some form of apology or compensation. I hope Best Buy improves its service accountability — especially at the local level.

Many of the employees are way to use to selling to customers from Pinnacle. This store convinced my elderly neighbors that they needed a $250 12ft HDMI cable and a surge protector that was well over $400(that he insisted they needed because he told them other surge protectors have to be replaced every 6 months). Both products while nice were way over kill for all but the most expensive and audiophile of setups. When I went in to help my neighbors with the huge upsale the guy who conned them into the purchases just told them to take their money someplace else. While it was nice that they got a refund and ended up with a very nice setup in the long run, it's a shame that the employees are so out of touch with what is reasonable.
