Went to have my iPhone 13 battery replaced, set up an appointment which required providing my phones info, only to find out in person that they don't stock replacement batteries. If they order you a new battery, you must leave your phone as collateral until it arrives. The estimated time was 3 weeks. I offered to pay for the battery up front, but they are "required" to keep your phone. Asinine.

I was on a cross-country motorcycle trip and lost my phone in the Arizona desert. I came to Best Buy to get a temporary phone until I could make it back to NC. I explained my situation to Cheyenne, and she was one of the friendliest people I encountered on my trip. She showed me all the phones in my budget and even took the time to help me set the phone up before I left to make sure I didn't get stranded in a different state. I truly appreciated her willingness to help me, and she was an absolute pleasure to be around.
I'm sorry I didn't make a note of the young man who assisted me, but as a senior woman, I don't often get excellent service, especially when wanting to purchase computers. He was courteous and very knowledgeable. He patiently let me ask all the "dumb" questions I had and answered in a way I understood. I wish I could bundle him up and ship him to the Best Buy in my hometown!
