I am beyond frustrated with the service (or lack thereof) at Best Buy. I called repeatedly to make an appointment, only to have the phone ring endlessly with no response. Clearly, they don’t care to answer their customers’ calls. The only option is to make an appointment online, which seems like a pointless tactic to get people inside without actually addressing their needs. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told to wait while my issue was “looked into.” After a few seconds, the agent came back and told me they didn’t have the part I needed and suggested I drive all the way to Phoenix — a couple of hundred miles away — to get the repair done. Are you serious? To top it off, their website should notify customers if critical parts, like batteries, are in stock before booking an appointment, saving everyone time and frustration. And while in-store, I watched the staff, including a very unhelpful agent, walk around and do absolutely nothing. They didn’t bother asking if customers needed help, leaving us to fend for ourselves. This experience was a waste of time and energy, and their customer service was dismal. It’s clear they have no regard for customer satisfaction. I don’t know if it’s a generational issue, but these employees should be fired if this is the standard of service they offer. Completely unsatisfactory. I’ll never be returning.
