There's this loud fan they have by the registers and I don't know if I'm the only person who get this way but it emits a sound that makes me sick it hurts my ears it's loud and it just causes my stomach to turn. Customer service is ok. Usually clean. I go there for car speakers, TV mounts ECT . But not often so that's good!

Recently took my laptop in for repair. They said it would take 4 weeks & had to be shipped to KY! Then while it was there I get an email saying they wouldn't work on it any further unless I agreed to pay $99 upon pickup. So I agreed. Then I get another email saying my part is back ordered. Finally I get a call that it's back in Prescott & I can pick it up. I make an appt with Geek Squad for the next day & first he can't find my computer then after 10 minutes of looking everywhere, he brings it to the counter & opens it up, turns it on, and this weird stuff comes up on my screen. I asked him what was going on. He said "oh, they did a complete factory reset so basically you have a new computer." I was like WHOA! All I needed was my screen replaced. No one TOLD me they were going to wipe out my entire computer! His response was :well, they should have told you that was a possibility when you dropped it off." I was so angry! I had to go home & reinstall EVERYTHING myself! Microsoft 365, my printer & drivers, all my documents which fortunately I had backed up on the cloud, all the programs (which a week later I am still not done with), and all the bills I pay online that I had saved sign ons to were wiped out since Microsoft was wiped out!! I will NEVER buy or service another product from them again!

Hello, Donna, Thank you for reaching out to share your concerns with the data loss from your computer being sent out for repair. We can understand that having concerns with the loss of data can be difficult. When dropping off your computer you are provided paperwork to sign that would ask if you would like to have a data backup as your computer may be factory reset and this would be at an extra cost. When customers do not request this it has to be checked off and signed to not wanting this service and would result in this loss. Once I actually managed to get help, it went smoothly. I needed to buy a cell phone, but there were no salespeople there. Then, when I tracked one down, she tried to sign me up for their credit card. When I said no, she calles for somebody to actually get me the phone, which he did after he tried to convince me to get the credit card.
