Was given a car stereo for Christmas & these guys we so helpful. They helped me pick 1 & went through how to best price to get me in all with instal. When I dropped it off they were super friendly & made sure I understood everything.

I don't think I have ever left a negative review for any service or product, but this one is called for. In early July I was shopping for an I phone; I wanted to switch from android to Apple since my computer is apple and I am particularly focused on pictures. I want to best buy for advice and help. For context , I have spent several thousand dollars at Best Buy in the last 10 years; 2 desk tops, 4 laptops, 2 or 3 iPads, and at least two phones. The customer rep told me that the I phone 14 had the same camera in it as the 16 , and so for approximately $600 less I bought the 14. I had financially been planning on the 16 . Well, after getting it home, working with it, and showing to friends I learned that the camera is not at all the same. Three weeks after the purchase I went backed to Best Buy and asked to return it and buy the (more expensive) 16 pro. The Best Buy on line site states that this can be done up to 4 weeks so I was well within my window. The customer service desk refused to help me; they stated that the return policy was only valid for people on Verizon (it does not say this on line and I do not have Verizon.) Knowing I would loose money, I asked for a trade in quote and they would not even give me that. It's impractical to drive to the Valley to give my business directly to Apple, but that may be what has to happen. Meanwhile I am stuck with a 14 when I want a 16 pro.

I can understand your confusion as the information on activatable devices is clear that they all have a 15-day Return and Exchange Promise window. There is an asterisk online at https://bby.me/quqgdi that shows that there is an exception for Verizon customers that upgrade their device or get a line with a device with Best Buy that states "*Activatable devices are devices capable of being activated and include cell phones, cellular tablets, mobile hotspots, and cellular wearables. Verizon devices capable of being activated have a 30-day return period for all customers." Why is it impossible to reach someone at your store!?! All calls are sent to call center?!! It’s horrible customer service. Fix it.
