I've been here many times with varying results. This last time I went in to purchase a phone charger and they have a helpful greeter who immediately sent me in the right direction. I figured out which one I wanted and was most pleased by the amount of associates waiting in their respective departments, They always seem to be in some kind of motion although if you watch,\ closely they never seem to have an actual destination.
Incredibly, when I traversed the long entranceway and arrived at the lone checkout counter I found it to be deserted. I dismissed the concept that it was self serve I waited. Then I waited some more and another person got in line. Then, in a flash, an associate appeared behind the counter and our long pointless suffering appeared to be over. He immediately began rummaging through items on a shelf on the left then quickly disappeared.
Heads up Best Buy: You can have the lowest prices, all the brands, an army of associates to help customers even valet parking but a business model that doesn't allow for actual purchases is destined to fail.
Walked out and the greeter asked if I'd found everything okay and I told him everything but the cashier.
