Best Buy has really gone down-hill. Service has become really bad. If possible, buy elsewhere and avoid the lack of service. What a shame!!¡

Bought a dishwasher, paid for install, warranty, install kit, haul away old one, $1000 dollars in total. First install appointment, they dumped the washer in the middle of my kitchen, made an excuse about not being able to install it like I paid for bc of the install kit (the one I was told to buy), and they didn't even want to touch the plumbing lines, as in, turning the water valve off like you would need to install the appliance, bc it turns out they weren't actual plumbers or familiar with basic plumbing. Went back to the store, it took them a week to figure out how to cancel the first install appointment because the installer left the appointment as "in transit". Finally get it canceled and get set up with another install team. The next guy comes in, and 1) doesn't even want to use the install kit we bought, 2) wants to use his own parts, 3) then says he doesn't have the parts he would want to use, 4) then says he does have the parts afterall and follows that up by 5) telling us he wants to charge us an additional "install fee", and 6) states that the extra fee is bc he isn't a part of best buy. 7) He then says his credit card reader isn't working, so 8) we can just pay him under the table through zelle, and it would be "cheaper that way anyway" We said no, so he 9) refused to install the washer but 10) STILL MARKED THE INSTALL AS COMPLETED. We reported his actions to best buy. At that point I said I was done and wanted a refund and for them to pick up their damn washer. They apologized, gave me a partial refund: only $200 on a $1000 purchase! Then they setup an appointment for picking up the washer. Lo and behold, they NO SHOWED on picking up the washer. We go down to the store to speak with a manager, he calls corporate. Corporate PUTS HIM ON HOLD TO CALL ME as we're sitting there in the store, in front of the manager. They REFUSED to give me my money back, making excuses about when they could and that it would be 2 WEEKS to either or both pick up the washer and think about giving me my money. This whole debacle has already taken the entire month of January and lost us days of work on both the install appointmens and the no show pick up appointment. I first bought the washer on 1/7/26. And they want me to wait another 2 weeks for no reason? No they just want to steal my money. This entire process was just one giant scam and they are stealing my money and abandoning their product in my house. Now I'm getting calls from "corporate" where they are bypassing the call to go straight to voicemail and when I try to immediately call the number back, it's a dead end. Never, NEVER, buy an appliance from best buy.

Bought Ai glasses and they couldn't even hook them up to my Mom's phone. These things aren't cheap. Thanks anyway
