I had an incredibly frustrating experience at this Best Buy location due to the unprofessional and condescending attitude of one of the supervisors, Gus. I went to the store to exchange a printer and needed help finding a specific model, the Brother printer. When I approached Gus for assistance, his behavior was shockingly dismissive and rude. Instead of offering help or finding someone who could, he repeatedly told me to wait in a tone that made me feel like I was being unreasonable for even asking. What stood out most was Gus's condescending attitude. He spoke to me as if I didn’t understand basic instructions and accused me of demanding things I hadn’t. Rather than de-escalating the situation, his confrontational tone only made things worse. It was clear that Gus had no interest in assisting me or ensuring I had a positive shopping experience, which is especially disappointing coming from someone in a leadership role. I ultimately chose to return not only the printer but also a TV I had purchased the day before because I refuse to spend my money in a store where I am treated with such disrespect. As a loyal Best Buy customer for many years, I have never experienced anything like this before, and it’s unacceptable. Gus’s attitude is not reflective of the professionalism I’ve come to expect from Best Buy, and I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure no other customers are treated this way.
