The level of incompetence of the appliance delivery team is impressive even for todays lowered standards. Delivery addresses, notes about gates and elderly renters in need of a fridge and taking the 2nd full day off work waiting for delivery, communication by dispatch or the drivers is like an SNL sketch of child-like idiocy. Went to the wrong address, called me repeatedly confusing me with another customer, and then rudely claimed it was my fault! I am now waiting for 4 more days for the 3rd installation attempt for a fridge that was left at the bottom of 1 flight of stairs at my rental property for a week now. Why would Best Buy leave a fridge at 1 address and then show up to install it at another? Am I in a hidden camera comedy sketch? I will avoid doing any business with Best Buy in the future.

They don’t care about you. Whether you are a customer or an employee, they simply could not care less about your experience. They will shove their credit cards, memberships, and warranties down your throat. I have seen them fire people that have been there for 30 years(not an exaggeration), and keep inexperienced seasonal employees, just so they no longer need to provide benefits and higher wages for the OG, and they can just pay the new ones minimum wage. And the customer experience suffers for this, they know, they don’t care. Magnolia employees act like they are better than everyone else because they wear button-up shirts. They keep making things worse for customers, and expect you not to notice. I used to spend thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars a year even just at this specific location. They take away benefits they’ve made you work for. For example, they had a program which was Best Buy rewards, depending on how much you spend in a year you would earn status, with each tier of status you would receive better and better benefits (longer return policy, points accumulate faster, yada yada). If I spend $3500 a year, I get Elite Member Status for the next, well I did that, and not even 5 months into the year, they decided to rip all those benefits I earned away from me. Now you can only earn points with a Best Buy Credit Card. They’ve completely removed the physical media section, I know I know cry me a river. They no longer have specialists, they expect every employee to be cross trained so any of them can help you at any time, which is great in theory, but they don’t actually train them. If I go in with a question, it will never get answered, I’m better off Googling or asking Reddit. I just don’t see the point in these locations existing anymore. They used to be great, but all these changes in the last few years have really been for the worse. RIP Gamer’s Club Unlocked Hubert Joly knew what he was doing, he was able to show how much Best Buy really valued their people, and that was all people, not limited to customers or employees. Corrie Barry on the other hand, is just another great example of what corporate greed looks like. While not as successful, she might as well be another Zuck, Musk, Bezos… not a shred of humanity.
