Let them know I have a terminal illness and have 2-5 years to live and was admitted into the hospital when my printer arrived and couldn’t return it because I was in the hospital and then was told if I brought it in I could still return it- came in and the lady was totally mean and rude. I let her know my situation and she was heartless like too bad we won’t return it. Horrible service. I see why they have so many bad reviews.

Bryan was hands down the best part of my experience at Best Buy. I came in with the intention to quickly purchase a tablet and leave, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen at first. I approached two female representatives and asked for help. One of them responded that someone would assist me, then walked away to chat with two other employees instead of helping. Frustrated, I walked to the back counter where Bryan and another representative were seated. I asked if someone could help me purchase a tablet. The woman asked which one I wanted, but made no effort to get up or assist. Bryan, however, immediately stood up, apologized for the delay, and provided amazing customer service. He quickly retrieved the tablet, checked me out, and had me on my way—all in less time than it took me to even get someone’s attention initially. Best Buy, I truly hope you recognize the value of employees like Bryan. His professionalism turned around what could have been a negative experience. Thank you, Bryan—people like you really do make a difference.

Cerritos Store manager Daniel blatantly lied to me about the return policy to protect his store’s sales numbers. I purchased a freezer chest at the Lake Forest store on Mar 22nd to use at a family member’s home. Upon opening the box, the product was damaged and had burn marks all over the bottom. I took the item to the nearest Best Buy (Cerritos) and attempted to exchange for a new one but was told I needed to go back to the original store. I tried arguing with store manager Daniel why I couldn’t do an exchange but he wouldn’t help me. Later that day, I ended up taking the defective freezer back to the original store and getting a refund. The two employees helping me with my return told me “that manager lied to you, you can return all products to any Best Buy store”. They further explained that Daniel probably lied “because he didn’t want the return to hit his store and show as a loss. Some stores are struggling and they don’t want their numbers to look bad”. Shame on you Cerritos store manager Daniel. Lying to customers and causing inconvenience all to protect your numbers!!
