Best Buy Chula Vista

Went in to check on cards with my kid, only to have the cashier we asked a normal question to rudely respond. My kid, trying to stay positive, says let's check one more spot in the middle of the store just in case they have something. Nothing. Typical. Its a scalpers world after all. He decides to get a digital pokemon game with his birthday money, and I decide to treat him to one more different pokemon game he wanted since he was disappointed we couldn't find cards ANYWHERE. We ended up getting rung up by the same rude employee we encountered earlier, and upon getting home, my kid says the codes are for the same game. They overcharged us. Scanned the expensive game twice. Best part about it is you CANNOT call the local store you just shopped at to speak to an associate. AI intercepts you 1st, then it automatically reroutes you to an associate outside of the USA. I made sure looked up the number to the store I was at and called a number with OUR local area code. Each time it was the same. No associate from the actual store can be reached anymore apparently. There were so many people standing at the front talking with eachother this evening too that i'm having a hard time believing there is NO ONE that can answer phone calls. Best Buy thinks AI is the answer to this too. When gas is $7 a gallon, its not okay. We don't live close. Best Buy, thank you for reminding me how much I hate the current shopping experience in big box stores. Quick to take your money, and impossible to get a hold of when it comes to getting it back. Shame on this business model. Go back to REAL customer service. This place used to be awesome.
