I have found Best Buy to have great customer service and products. You may find Costco a bit cheaper but their service and convenience makes up for the small difference in price. Staff is knowledgeable on all the products in their area.

Don't get store credit. What they don't tell you is they restrict you on how you spend your own money with their store credit. It was my money to begin with and now I'm being forced to spend it how they want. Talk about getting scammed.
When I contacted their support for an actual explanation I was just quoted their policy.

I had a really frustrating experience with Geek Squad yesterday. I called and explained that my computer screen wasn’t turning on. They told me to bring it in so they could run a diagnostic. I drove about 30 minutes to get there, expecting they would actually check the problem.
When I arrived, they looked at the computer and simply said, “the screen isn’t coming on.” I already knew that — that’s why I brought it in. They didn’t run any real diagnostic, didn’t try to check anything internally, and basically told me they didn’t have the tools or ability to figure out the actual issue.
This was a complete waste of time. If they couldn’t diagnose it, they should have told me over the phone instead of having me drive all the way there for nothing.
Very disappointing experience. Based on this, I don’t recommend relying on Geek Squad for computer diagnostics.
