Total Tech is total BS. I have been paying for Total Tech for 3 years now and right when something happened, I took it in and by golly I am outside of my 2 year protection... What do you mean? What am I paying $180 a year for exactly? Why didn't they say this when I bought it with my computer?... They said anything that happens, water damage, anything, you are protected.. I asked them what am I paying for and they said software protection...I'm an IT person; I don't need software protection. The computer I bought Dell Inspiron mouse pad never worked and they always kept updating my software, sending me home and then the pad would stop again. Never again will I give them my business. They lie about everything and sell you things that are not necessary! Best Buy is a joke!
I went in and bought some stuff and was helped by some nice people.
I came to Best Buy on Sunday to pick up an action camera I purchased during Black Friday.
The greeter at the entrance was friendly and gave me a warm welcome, which was nice.
However, the experience at the pick-up counter felt very cold.
Two staff members were there, but no one acknowledged me or said they would be right with me.
After waiting for about a minute, I asked if I was in the right place, and the response was a poker-faced “please wait.”
A minute or two later, I was finally called over, but the whole interaction had zero engagement—no greeting, no small talk, and not even a “have a good day” at the end.
The process itself was fine, but the overall customer service felt indifferent and flat.
Not terrible, but definitely not a warm or pleasant experience.
