I want to recognize Darius and Chris from the Geek Squad team at the Colma Best Buy location for their outstanding professionalism and customer service during my recent TV installation appointment. Both gentlemen were prompt, respectful, knowledgeable, and extremely professional from start to finish. After dealing with multiple frustrations throughout this process, their demeanor immediately stood out. Every question I had was answered clearly and effectively, without impatience or condescension, which honestly meant a lot. They worked efficiently, communicated well, and completely changed the tone of what had previously been a stressful experience. Employees like Darius and Chris deserve recognition because exceptional customer service is becoming increasingly rare. I also asked how I could tip them because I truly appreciated the level of service they provided, and I was disappointed to learn that tipping is discouraged. Best Buy should absolutely reconsider that policy because employees who go above and beyond deserve to feel appreciated. Thank you again, Darius and Chris!!!!!

Very poor service at the store near 200 Colma Blvd. I came in for a simple USB-C to Type-A adapter. I was sent to an aisle where the product didn’t exist. After that, I asked multiple employees for help and none of them took responsibility. No one checked inventory. No one tried to locate the item. No one redirected me to someone who could actually help. I was left walking around the store wasting my time while staff stood around doing nothing. This is not about being busy. This is about a complete lack of accountability and basic customer service. If your employees are not trained to assist customers beyond pointing at shelves, then there is a serious management and training issue at this location. I left without the product and without any solution. I have submitted a formal complaint and expect this to be addressed.
