These people are like scammers. I made an appointment with the GeekSquad at the Corona store of BestBuy to get an estimate for fixing a software issue with my PC laptop. I showed up to the appointment on time, and the person at the GeekSquad counter just ignored me while he was talking to someone else, and then proceeded to cancel the appointment while I was sitting right in front of him waiting. I finally got to talk to him, and he was impatient, and curtly provided a quote of $200+ to “fix” the software issue which would basically erase all of my data and require me to leave the laptop there for multiple days. I took the laptop to a local computer repair business, and it was fixed within one business day at a fraction of the cost. SHAME ON YOU bestbuy. If you don’t care about customers then get out of this business.
