Bought an open box laptop which happened to be the display for their store. They sold it to me and did not reset it! Call support online since I drove two hours to pick up this laptop and they wanna charge 39.99 to reset it! I can’t even call the store directly!!! Absolutely ridiculous no online support will help without charging when this is their mess up!
This place is a joke. The store manager should really see how this place is ran. 1st, geek squad… I go in there for them to discuss issues with my pc. The 2 people behind the counter looking at each other debating on who wants to help me with my issue. Eventually one finally decides to step up and before discussing the issue, he tries selling me on some BS yearly subscription. When I told him no he then says to reset my PC it’s going to be $250 IF that’s the issue. I told him no and that I’m going to take my computer elsewhere he stops me and says, all you really need to do is reset windows with a thumb drive. So you were gonna charge me $250 for that?!?
2nd. On my way out I decide I’m going to just buy an Xbox instead of mess with my PC. Yall have 15 people working there on a Sunday YET nobody to ask if I needed help or anything since EVERYTHING is locked in that store. I went up to the front and said I wanted to buy the $299 Xbox. The girl behind the counter rings up one for $450. I said no, I wanted the $299… she proceeded to get on there stupid radio system and nobody knows about the Xbox that’s priced at $299. I helped another rep out to show him exactly which one and he goes “oh there it is, let me get it from the back” don’t bother. I went to target next door and bought the correct one.
It’s just embarrassing. Then again- that’s Best Buy for ya.
Service is shoddy inefficient and disorganized. In my experience customer satisfaction is not a concern.
Great Customer Service. I appreciate that very much.
