Best Buy is wonderful. This store is difficult for picking up electronics because of the parking being across the street and up stairs

I bought a laptop last year and was convinced by the cashier to open a credit card with the promise of a $170 credit rebate. He claimed that opening the card will make it last in perpetuity. Today, I went to BestBuy again to use this rebate only to find that the rebate expired within 2 months of purchase. This was not properly communicated to me resulting in excessive credit pull thus I signed up for the card for zero benefit. The cashier girl today was next to useless as she was giving excessive attitude and chewing gum the whole time she was speaking. I tried to get help on their helpline for perks and benefit explanation but I cannot even get past automated voice. DO NOT GET A BEST BUY CARD UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!

I paid $1,900 in cash for an unlocked phone at this store. Only three days later, I returned to bring it back. That’s when I was told I could not get my refund in cash, but only by check. This was never disclosed to me at the time of purchase. If it had been, I would have reconsidered paying in cash. Instead, I was misled. When I questioned this, the store manager claimed all employees tell customers about this policy — which was absolutely false in my case. Being lied to on top of being denied my cash back is completely unacceptable. I was depending on that money, and this delay caused me unnecessary stress. The way I was treated made me feel dismissed, disrespected, and possibly discriminated against. For a company of this size, customers spending nearly $2,000 should not be treated this way. I expect corporate to address this issue immediately. Refund policies must be explained up front, and managers should be held accountable when they misrepresent the truth. What happened to me was unfair and has destroyed my trust in this company.

It is not possible to register on the website. In the store they approached me only after a scandal and did not help me in any way.
