Sloppy service. Checked in pu prepaid tv. He searched and searched and recruited others up to 5. After an hour a guy rolls up with the name and model of a tv but maybe not the one bought as an open box item. I was also given a generic remote which isnt programming.

I wish I could this location a better review. Went to get a new modem using the trade in open that was highlighted on the website for the model I was going to purchase. Check the fine print for exclusions of modems accepted , non listed. Drove all the way there 25 minutes and am told they won’t take the Netgear model I had (the first employee said they didn’t take modems and then asked another person who said they do). At this point I needed the modem so I purchased anyway. However Best Buy has lost a customer. And I have a few more things to buy that I probably would have got from BB. That’s a big no now. I’ll get them elsewhere. Don’t know if it is just this location that will only take specific models. If you are contemplating a trade in steam clear of Best Buy in Costa Mesa.
