I purchased an out of box front load washer in February 2024 and it is now November 2024. A couple months ago the washer started making a loud noise in spin cycle like a jet engine taking off. I called Best Buy as I also purchased a 5y warranty. Since it hasn't been a year since purchased i had to call the manufacturer Samsung. After both companies passed the buck on each other, I finally got Samsung to send a tech out. The tech came pointed out a small dent on the side and opened the machines front cover and told me there was "existing damage" and because of this the warranty doesn't cover the fix. 15 min max in and out of my home. I called BEST BUY, who then had to collaborate the story and sided with Samsung saying there wasn't anything they could do. The machine was brand new and worked fine for roughly 6-7 months and if their reason "existing damage " was the issue i believe the machine would have began making the jet noise almost immediately! Not 7 months later!
I had a totally horrible experience and feel robbed as the so called extended warranty is good for nothing but extra money in their pocket. I do not recommend this place and suggest that be very thorough in examination of any product bought from these crooks!

We bought two "open box" appliances, had them installed, but one did not work. I'm not sure if returned items are tested by Best Buy to see if they're in working order before selling them to another customer? The price was right, but a hassle overall with the pick-up and repurchase.
