Don't get store credit. What they don't tell you is they restrict you on how you spend your own money with their store credit. It was my money to begin with and now I'm being forced to spend it how they want. Talk about getting scammed.
When I contacted their support for an actual explanation I was just quoted their policy.

I will always purchase TVs from the Folsom Best Buy going forward. I recently had a bad customer service experience with a very large TV manufacturer. The TV developed a screen defect 4 months after purchase, and despite a 5 year manufacturer warranty on the panel, they refused to fix it do to being within their "tolerance". As a last ditch effort I went to the Folsom Best Buy and asked if they could do anything under their extended warranty, which I also purchased. I spoke with Levi and the store manager Liam. They were extremely accommodating agreeing that the response from the TV manufacturer was not right. They did everything in their power to make it right and showed that there still are people out there who care about the customers. I can't thank them enough for their help. They have earned a customer for life!

The Geek Squad staff is excellent. They’re very knowledgeable, and courteous, and patient with customers who don’t know a computer from a breadbox (e.g. me). Highly recommended.
