Guys… honestly, you can’t make this stuff up even if you tried. 😂 So Memorial Day weekend, I head to Best Buy looking for computer deals since I run several businesses and needed a few units for my locations. I’m also one of those customers who pays close attention to how employees treat people ( customers )— because sometimes the best way to train your own team is by learning from other businesses’ disasters. I walk in… and the place is emptier than my fridge after a Sunday night. A few customers here and there, but definitely not “too busy to help anyone” type of busy. Then the show begins. There’s a customer at Geek Squad trying to get help. He politely approaches an employee. No response. He tries again. No response. Nothing. Finally, the employee blesses him with this masterpiece of customer service: “Do you have an appointment?” Not “Hi sir, how are you?” Not “How can I help you today?” Nothing. Just straight-up robotic attitude with a side of passive-aggressive seasoning. The customer says, “You guys just sold me a membership and nobody told me I needed an appointment. I was told I could come in anytime for help. So… was I lied to?” Silence. Apparently the answer was classified information. Then Geek Squad Einstein walks over to what I can only describe as the Queen of Nasty, they whisper, and she comes back pointing vaguely into space saying he has to “be in the queue” — as if the poor guy was supposed to magically know where this invisible line existed. I’m assuming her manager, spiritual advisor, or fellow member of the Anti-Customer League. The customer asks again: “So was I lied to when I bought the membership?” Response: “I don’t know who told you that.” Translation: Not my problem, citizen. Then he asks, “If I wait, will you help me?” Again… silence. At this point, the customer takes out his phone to snap a photo because let’s be real — ( let's make something clear it's not illegal to take a photo of a person in USA) if you’re going to report terrible behavior/service, you need proof of the creature involved. lol And suddenly… BOOM. Now she finds her voice. Starts freaking out, yelling about why he took a photo. Last time I checked, this is the USA, not USSR or some top-secret government bunker. 😂 If employees don’t want customers identifying them after acting rude, maybe post signs at the entrance: “Warning: If abused by staff, please report your complaint telepathically since photos hurt feelings.” Then she calls security. Security actually escorts the customer out. For what exactly? For expecting customer service at… customer service ( Geek Squad ) after paying for it? At this point I’m standing there speechless, feeling like I accidentally walked into Soviet-era customer relations training camp. And let’s talk facts: The store was EMPTY. Not “Black Friday madness” empty. Not “all hands on deck” busy. Just empty. Which honestly explains why places like this are losing customers. The best part? While all this chaos was happening, I managed to snap a photo of this whole customer-service gladiator match. Listen, rule #1 in business: YOU NEVER FIGHT WITH A CUSTOMER. EVER. Even if the customer is wrong, witch he wasn't lol you handle it with professionalism.. Kindness takes you a long way. Apparently at this location, kindness took the weekend off. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere. The photo says it all. 😂 She was so evil to that customer I want to cry lol 😂 If the corporate office actually supports this kind of behavior — especially from a manager — then somebody seriously needs their heads examined. And if they don’t support it, she should’ve been let go yesterday… actually, make that the day before yesterday. Lol Great job geniuses keep it up lol 😂

Five stars for the incredible team at Best Buy who stepped up to protect me when Apple's ecosystem failed. When my new MacBook Pro suffered from non-stop credential lockouts on day one, I came here to buy a Google Nest Wifi Pro. A sales associate named Trina introduced me to the Best Buy Total membership, which became an absolute lifesaver.Due to Apple's software issues, I ended up spending $566.77 at Best Buy on a membership and networking equipment that normally would not have been necessary. However, Best Buy's team earned every penny of my trust. While an Apple technician wanted me to spend $500–$600+ just to get my old computer ready to transfer data, Best Buy stepped in and transferred all of my data to another computer without charging me a single penny extra for those repairs. They are patient, helpful, and provide a vital safety net for customers.
