Plenty of parking space always a great place to buy
I called Best Buy customer service yesterday to confirm if I could bring in my equipment for repair, since it’s heavy and I didn’t want to make the trip unnecessarily. The representative on the phone talked a lot but gave me the wrong information about my warranty coverage and told me it should be covered. After going to the store, I found out the warranty had already expired—just about a month past.
The Geek Squad team and store management were great—very kind, professional, and took time to review my situation. Unfortunately, they couldn’t help since it was technically out of warranty, which I understand. Still, it’s frustrating that customer service over the phone didn’t know what they were talking about, leading to a wasted trip and time.
Overall, great in-person service, but my suggestion would be not to trust the customer service reps over the phone, better to go in person and ask to be helped ahead of time.

Best buy is a very organized and clean store. I think there is a lot of wasted open space that could be utilized with more merchandise but it's not my business. It's convenient if you need technology quickly. Usually I buy used tech on eBay for half price. It's nice to browse and look at items in person. They sent me a $10 birthday gift card, still figuring out what I'm going to buy from Best buy with it. It would be cool if they accept Bitcoin one day.
