I had a really frustrating experience with a manager named Scott at Best Buy. I attempted to return an unused laptop that was still in perfect condition, but because the box wasn’t from the exact store location it was purchased at, he refused to process the return. Instead of using any discretion or trying to help resolve the situation, Scott told me I had to drive all the way back to the original store. There was no effort to find a reasonable solution or provide even basic customer service. What stood out most was the lack of professionalism and willingness to help. For a company like Best Buy, you’d expect better training and flexibility when dealing with straightforward situations like this. Overall, it was an unnecessary inconvenience and a disappointing experience. Definitely makes me reconsider shopping here again.

I ordered one lens from other best buy store to pick up from burbank location. I didn't even touch the box and I asked pick up section employee to check the condition of the lens. Per the box and item condition I decided not to take the lens and return immediately. The employee asked me to pay 15% restocking fee for an item that I didn't even open or touched. I asked for full refund but he called his manager and the manager didn't return the item and offered exchange that I need to wait another 7 days to pick up from different store. This was very negative experience. To me items seems used or opened box. I purchased multiple lenses and I can tell easily if the condition of the lens is new or open boxed. I won't purchase any more items from best buy anymore.
