Wow. I am so greatful for the help I got from Aaliyah in the “geek squad”. Out of everyone I encountered in the store she went above and beyond to help and was a GENIUS when it came to the actual stuff I needed. I came with old cameras needing cords. I think everyone would agree Best Buy is where to go to find “cords”. So, I started with the person at the door that greets you (for what I don’t know), showed him my old cameras and he directed me to “the camera department”. There, I met someone who told me for sure Best Buy didn’t have these cords and I should look on E bay. That seemed incorrect. Soooo I did a little google search, found the thing to charge the batteries that was required and…. Indeed they DID have it. Then, I buy this nearly $70 device to charge the batteries and tell the guy I need to test it to see if it works and return it immediately if it doesn’t. He says I can plug it “over there” and just kind of points in the distance. It was me who decided to go to Geek Squad where I met Aaliyah and she took the time to show me how to use the charger and found THE OTHER CORD I NEEDED and sold it to me. Aaliyah should be IN CHARGE of this Best Buy. Also, the guy at the register that first rang me up it seemed like giving me a receipt would be way too labor intensive for him, so I didn’t ask. However Aaliyah gave me a receipt for BOTH purchases without me asking and this rare thing you can never get anymore called a plastic bag.
Was in and out with a new phone in 5 mins. Very fast customer service.
Helpful staff, very nice guys, they even let me setup my new laptop on their wifi at store since I am roadtripping US
