It's not what it used to be like, that's for sure. The 3 people we chatted with seemed more interested in anything else than showing us the Chromebooks. And we found out why. There were a total of 6 in the store. And one of those had the wrong brand and model sticker in front of it. We made up our minds very quickly before they decided to close the store and leave us inside. Won't be going back. Ever.
Experience has been with online ordering and in-store pick-up. I highly recommend purchasing from Best Buy this way, especially if you're like I am and when I go shopping at the store, I always end up buying more than I came for. With picking up an order, I'm typically in and out of the store in 5 min, order in hand, Best Buy is great at communicating about your order and status for pick-up. I've also found the app to be 95% spot on with what is in stock.
Best buy La Quinta is way better. It just happen this is the closest to my house, I make an appointment online for my ipad. Came here on time to get my ipad fixed. Instead of giving me the price I will need to pay, the geek squad Shawn, keep giving “advice” to bring it to apple, but i made the appointment already, and here where apple instruct me to go to. He keeps saying that it will be expensive, he told me its going to be 60$ plus labor. And it will take 3 weeks. And so? I dont mind if its 3 weeks. Im not in hurry, but then when I made the decision to get it fixed, he said it will cost me like a new price for the ipad. Why dont he just tell how much it is? He made me feel unwelcome in this store, and the manager did not do anything about it. If you dont want to do your job, just tell us right away sp we dont both wasting time.
