Best Buy has completely lost the plot when it comes to basic competence and respect for customers’ time. The so-called “experts” made a mistake that caused a major inconvenience, then had the audacity to suggest I spend more money to fix their error. Even better, after agreeing and confirming they supposedly had the replacement product, it turned out they didn’t actually have it at all wasting even more of my time. The proposed solution was for me to reschedule another five-hour appointment where I’d be without my vehicle, as if customers just magically have unlimited free time to accommodate their disorganization. No accountability, no urgency, and no consideration for the fact that people have lives, responsibilities, and schedules. Unless you walk in already knowing exactly what you want and plan to grab it off the shelf yourself, don’t expect meaningful help here. You will care more about the outcome than the employees do, and you’ll pay the price in wasted hours and unnecessary frustration. This wasn’t a one-off mistake it was a systemic failure in communication, inventory accuracy, and respect for customer time.
