UPDATE: 1/3/25
Called this store directly to save my failed shipment. Waited 1/2 hour to get through.
Explained to the customer service person what happened. I was put on hold while hecwent to see if my order could be redelivered vs refund as i need the pc. After waiting 15 min on hold, he disconnected me and didnt call back
Havent used best buy in years. bought a pc online during holiday sale. a nightmare from beginning to end punctuated by the 800# customer service.
save the headache: buy IN store only at Best Buy or use Amazon

Before making a purchase in California to bring home to Canada, I called best buy.com to see the best way to proceed. After making the purchase, I saw on my credit card bill that it had been completely messed up after following their on line instructions. After 6 phone calls, 2 text chats and 2 online chats, I determined that
1 Best Buy doesn’t care about bad customer experience
2 they don’t actually offer customer service
3 their online people don’t have the authority to rectify any situation or are able to refer you to someone who can
4 don’t have store managers who are willing to listen/help
Online referred us back to the store and assured us that the store would help us and the store manager wouldn’t even speak to us and the customer service rep in the store looked at us like we were crazy. After we got home to Canada, on our last phone call, we were assured again that the store, now 2200 kms away from us, could help after establishing we were back in Canada.
Twice during 2 separate phone calls, when it looked like we would might be heading to a resolution, the phone went dead. It seemed like the online people pretend to be trying to help, then they just hung up!
There is no one up the food chain you can contact and there certainly isn’t a number/email to voice your complaint to with any hope of a resolution.
Wonder if Best Buy Canada and Best Buy USA are owned and operated by the same company? Very poor/non existent customer service.
