My laptop shut down wasn’t charging or allowing me to boot it up. I went to Best in Palmdale CA, went up to Geek Squad desk. Explained to the Trch what happened. He looks at my Two year old HP laptop and say. “That’s too old, we don’t have batteries for that” He did not even try to analyze or offer any possible explanation. Only that it would cost $200 to even look at it. He says you need a new laptop, let me call over a sales associate. I turned around and walked out.
I then called Staples in Lancaster, CA, the Tech told me, bring it in, I’ll take a look. Right away the first thing he tried was the power plug, turns out it was defective. I just needed a new power plug. Best customer service. I will never shop at Best buy again!!!

Staff for pick up is really rude, they ask certain people for ID but not for everyone’s. I had my barcode ready and was dismissed for not having my ID. They asked to help the person behind me instead and did not ask for their ID, only for their name.
