Promised a deal on pc monitors only to be told at checkout that the employee was incorrect and the deal is only for certain monitors. Spent a lot time with employee deciding. Was pretty frustrated

DO NOT buy a 3D printer or protection plan from this Best Buy. They use deceptive customer steering and refuse to comply with California consumer protection laws.I bought a Bambu Lab P2S 3D printer and a $119.99 4-Year Geek Squad Protection Plan. The printer had an ongoing heating defect from day one, which eventually suffered a critical failure. Forced to stop using it immediately, I used the Best Buy portal to see how to resolve the issue. The portal steered me to exchange the hardware in-store, hiding the fact that an in-store swap forces you to use the Geek Squad protection instead of the manufacturer warranty. Once in-store, staff took my printer without explaining anything. Only after handing me a new printer did they reveal they permanently wiped out the remaining 45 months of coverage I paid for. Store manager Kyle Snyder claimed his hands were tied regarding the warranty and told me to call support to reinstate it. This kicked off a nightmare loop of conflicting information from multiple agents I spoke with across a 2 WEEK PERIOD. Every representative promised a different solution, giving me false assurances that my original warranty would be reinstated, credited, or transferred. None of those promises ever materialized. Phone support later confirmed Kyle lied to me and could have resolved this at the store; he had the direct authority to issue credits or call support himself. Additionally, to retain my warranty, he could have used his POS security overrides to process a "No-Fault Junkout" / "Junkout Exchange." This would have triggered a zero-dollar swap that preserved my original 4-year protection plan, saving me from this endless runaround. Dealing with him and those agents was a horrific experience. I will be taking my business to Micro Center, and you should too.

This store always has the latest tech and gadgets, and the staff is super helpful! I had a great experience finding exactly what I needed, and they even helped me set it up. Definitely my go-to place for electronics!
