I am in the market to spend $5,000 to $7,000 at Best Buy. I need to buy 2 large TVs, a soundbar a wall mounted oven and a gas range. I went to the Pasadena Best Buy store twice within 5 days, and both times, I spent over an hour in the store, mostly in the TV area. 2 Hours standing, looking at TVs, the first time, a person noticed me and said a person would be right with me when they were finished with their customer. Well, after 15 minutes, when that person was done with their customer left the floor, and for another 30 minutes, no one came by.
I went the following Monday at 7:30PM, and spend over an hour, hoping to get someone to talk to me about anything. There were about three sales persons on the floor, two of which were busy, and couldn't be bothered to ask us if we needed anything. I turned on soundbars, very loudly, left them on. I couldn't get arrested in the place.
I get more personalized service at Costco. I guess Customer service is not a thing anymore at Best Buy (at least at the East Pasadena store). I do NOT want to shop online. I was hoping to talk to a person who knew something about the products. Very angry and sad. NOT RECOMMENDED
