We bought our daughter a Kindle to encourage reading on Amazon but were disappointed, so we went to Best Buy to look at things in person. It's a clean, good-sized store but not overcrowded or cluttered. We found the section we were interested in easily enough and began to look. If someone had come over sooner it would be an easy 5 star, but it took a little bit to get some help. Once we had help though, it was fantastic. Answered our questions, offered suggestions, told us the pros and cons of the choices and helped us find the right device. It was slightly higher in price, but not too expensive. More importantly, the kiddo is happy and reading more. I would recommend checking the store out, you might even see me there because I'll be back next time I need electronics.
Got help from David. I didn't know anything about the Nintendo Switch so I asked for help. I got told the OLED was the only one that could hook up to the TV. The OLED version was more expensive and I could've gotten the cheaper one. I told him I just wanted a regular one that hooks up to the TV. I had to return it because it was too expensive and just got told that I didn't need the OLED. I could've gotten the cheaper one but I didn't know that. In saying that, do your own research before going to the store. I feel like I got cheated. I won't be working with him again.

I was so excited when I made that online purchase, eagerly awaiting its arrival at my doorstep. My heart sank when the tracking info claimed it had been delivered—delivered! I wanted to believe it, but deep down, I knew something was terribly wrong. I’ve got a security camera right in front of my house, watching every move, and it didn’t catch a single glimpse of any delivery person. Not a shadow, not a sound—nothing!
Desperate for answers, I rushed across the street to my neighbors, practically begging them to check their cameras. My hands were trembling as I waited for them to pull up the footage, hoping against hope that maybe, just maybe, they’d caught something I’d missed. But no—they shook their heads, their faces blank with confusion. No record, no trace, nothing. It was like the package had vanished into thin air.
That same day, I stormed into Best Buy’s chat support, my frustration boiling over. I’d already jumped through every hoop they’d asked—every form filled, every detail triple-checked—and still, I had nothing to show for it. They tried to smooth things over, promising me a refund and a replacement item I could pick up in-store the very next day, March 26th. I clung to that shred of hope, counting the hours. But when I showed up, buzzing with anticipation? Nothing. Empty-handed again.
Fuming, I fired off another message to the chat. They fed me more assurances, swearing up and down that the item would be there, that I just had to trust them. I did—I really tried to. But now it’s March 31st, and I’m still sitting here, staring at my empty porch, my patience shredded, my trust shattered. Where’s my package? Where’s their promise? I’m done waiting.
Thank you best buy, great service but poor resolution.
