Came in with a friend to purchase a tv, settled on purchasing two Samsung S84F tv models based on the recommendation provided by the Samsung rep working the floor. Originally we were under the impression that the tv on display was the one we were getting. As we neared purchase we found this to be false, stating the tv at the $899 price point is a “holiday” model and thats why its being sold so cheap. I reiterated an inquiry multiple times asking if the value of the holiday model was on par with the physical model on display. Every time we were given a “yes, the only caveat is a fitness app nobody uses” This turned out to be a false statement upon further review after the purchase. Then the rep advised us that he had to open box models that he would sell to us at a lower price point $742 + tax. We agreed to this, However, he came back stating that only one was still in a box and the others were in less than resellable condition (on their backs with tape all over the screens). At this point, my friend and I were starting to get concerned with the quality, However, we ultimately made the choice and purchased one new and one open box. We then paid a friend to come assist with getting the tv’s home. When we got home to unboxed the open box bottle, we found that the TV was still set up under the account of the original purchaser, and that the TV could not be reset without the utilization of a pin code. Out of frustration, my friend, returned to the store the following morning and spoke to manager Nicole. Nicole agreed to swap out the open box model with a new unit and provide a $40 credit to the other new tv purchased. At 5 PM I returned with the same friend who we now hired for a second time to assist with doing the TV swap. This time we spoke with manager Connor. After another 30-ish minutes a wasted time And an agreement to swap the TV for the new model, which was partially the agreement, Connor stated we could come back a third time for the “credit” portion agreed upon with Nicole, As he acknowledged, he came in at the halfway point and was Unable to verify the agreement made between my friend and Manager Nicole. We agreed to this reluctantly, However, then, Best Buy system would not allow them to honor the price point that was agreed-upon. Ultimately, We ended up returning the open box model and left without a TV. The multiple reasons for the one star review are due to the fact that the quality check through Best Buy on open up box items is abysmal and cannot be trusted. Managers, understanding or not, did not honor agreements made. The internal Best Buy system is another issue. The lack of empathy and consideration for the headache for selling a un-authenticated product and the time and money invested outside of the traditional purchase shows the care for customers. Buyers beware, Best Buy has clearly gone downhill.

Wow, they really have a fantastic range of televisions on offer! It's always a good sign when a store has so many options to choose from. You can tell they put a lot of effort into their inventory. Finding the perfect TV can be a bit overwhelming, but a great selection makes it so much easier. It's nice to have different brands and sizes all in one place. I'm sure you can find exactly what you're looking for there. Their displays are probably pretty impressive too. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the market for a new screen.
