I’ve been a Best Buy customer for years, but this experience completely changed my view of the company. Best Buy hides behind confusing and inconsistently applied return policies, then stonewalls customers when issues arise. I was bounced between store staff, corporate support, and “executive resolution” with no one taking real ownership or offering a reasonable solution. Each interaction felt scripted, dismissive, and designed to exhaust the customer rather than help them. What’s most frustrating is the lack of accountability. Policies are selectively interpreted, explanations change depending on who you speak to, and once they decide to say no, meaningful conversation stops. Escalations lead nowhere. Transparency and basic customer respect are clearly not priorities. For a company of this size, the customer care experience is shockingly poor. If something goes wrong with your purchase, be prepared for a long, frustrating process with little to no resolution. I would strongly caution anyone buying higher priced items here. Once Best Buy has your money, you are largely on your own.

The Best Buy in San Carlos is a fantastic place to shop. The customer service has consistently been great, and I’ve purchased several items here, including laptops, phones, and other electronics. I would like to especially recognize Michelle Langford, Customer Service at the San Carlos location. Michelle is outstanding, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. She has assisted us several times with purchases, always helping to find the best options while also saving money through promotions and the member plan. Her ability to handle everything efficiently with such professionalism is truly commendable. Michelle’s expertise and genuine willingness to help have made every visit a great experience. I truly appreciate her support and highly recommend that she be recognized for her excellent service. I would also like to acknowledge the Geek Squad team for their helpful services. Overall, I highly recommend the Best Buy in San Carlos. The staff, service, and overall experience are consistently excellent.

Store staff was not very helpful, they were however more interested in chatting with each other by the entrance while we waited patiently for one of them to assist us at the Geek counter. Severely under trained staff !

Longstanding electronics store located off of highway 101 in San Carlos. Wide selection of TVs, gaming consoles, AV equipment, movies, appliances, and much more. The store has evolved with the times and managed to co-exist with the internet economy. Friendly and helpful staff. Large free parking lot, but beware of the many clueless pedestrians crossing the parking lot while staring at their phones…
