We are in need of a whole kitchen remodeling since 90% of our appliances have broken down after 20 years, and are costly to repair. After looking around and comparing retailers (both online and in stores), we decided to take a look at Pacific Sales in La Jolla to see what they have. Store is clean and quiet when I was there, and one of the staffs greeted me upon entry. Didn't see a sale representative at first, but I preferred to browse on my own since I already have my notebook of info on what I am looking for. After a couple of minutes, a sale representative, Anton, came over and asked if he can help me. I then explained what I am looking for in details. Anton got right to it and even made some suggestions of other items so I can compare. I have already narrowed down what I wanted, a 36" six burners all gas Wolf oven-range , a Miele vs Bosch dishwasher, undercabinet range hood with at least 600cfm power ). I am, as my husband would say "borderline OCD", so would read a lot of reviews/research on what I like before buying, very frustrating to most people dealing with me. Anton was patient, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with answering all my endless questions. He even went out of his way and suggested to take a look at "open box" model as a way to save money. I was so glad he did. We were able to get such an awesome deal with a Miele dishwasher that was an open box item in practically perfect condition for a fraction of the retail price! I decided then and there to buy both the Wolf oven and Miele dishwasher. Since these are high end and UMRP items, there isn't any discount other than rebates or open box, if you are lucky enough to get them. Anton pointed out these deals to me and even suggested to open a Best Buy Credit card to get some credits back on the purchases, which I am planning to use to buy my range hood. At the time my Wolf oven has $400 off and the Miele offered $150 rebate on installation. Anton and the front desk staffs were patient and friendly even when I had trouble with the CC approval...I forgot that I had locked my credits, due to history of Identity fraud a few years back, and can't remembered how to unlock (yes I am terrible at technical stuffs, still have checkbook). They patiently waited for my wonderful husband to come and applied for the store CC. Everything went smoothly from the time I entered to the time we left. Anton and the staffs made my purchases easy and seamless. Since my contractor hasn't start the renovation yet, Anton said they will hold the delivery of the items till the end of December, a big plus! To give Anton and PS staffs credit, they also put up with me calling back a few times days later to answer/clarified more questions, yes I am that person that would triple check asked and check again yikes! We will be back to buy our range hood (looking at one that is undercabinet, stainless steel, 36", and has at least 600 CFM). Thanks again for all your help Anton and PS staffs.
