Geek Squad: I called Geek Squad on Sep. 9th because I wanted to know what they would charge to replace the battery in my Lenovo Yoga Laptop. The said $59.95 service fee + the battery. I made an appointment and took an uber down on Sep. 11th. When I got there they told me I needed to bring in my own battery plus join Geek Squad for an annual fee of $195.00. BIG WASTE OF MY TIME AND $32 in transportation costs. I had just recovered from Covid and needed my laptop fixed ASAP. I had purchased a new laptop at BB as a backup, just in case. I will be returning that $599 purchase tomorrow! Very disgusted!!!

Hi, Peter, Thank you for sharing feedback on your recent interaction with us. It's concerning to know you were unable to have your PC battery replaced as you'd expected. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we welcome the opportunity to look into this further for you. Feel free to reach out to us in a private message or DM on Facebook (https://bby.me/xtogy0), Twitter/X (@BestBuySupport), or Instagram (@BestBuy). Be sure to mention your Google review 42668.

There something about Best Buy that is frustrating: they seem to have a lot of salespeople on the floor but they're never from the department they're stand in. I ask a salesperson I see in cameras about a lens, and they can't help because they actually work in major appliances. The salesperson in the laptop area works in cell phones. The guy in cell phones can't help with selling phones because he's selling cell phone service plans!
