Tried to return a battery for a camera because I bought the wrong one and was denied. The guy opened the box and inspected the battery and said I couldn’t return it. Gave no reason why and I didn’t push back. I had the original receipt.
I went to another store (Almaden) and they informed me if the box was opened I couldn’t return it, which is fine. I ended up being able to return the item as never open it.
What makes no sense is why the employee at this (Santana Row) store 1. Didn’t ask if I opened the box (I didn’t) 2. Why he’d open the box, effectively making it so I couldn’t return it - especially if he was going to just deny my return without any reason.
Another reason to buy online.
