I ordered a monitor from Best Buy, and it never arrived in my possession—yet Best Buy still hasn’t refunded me. I’m not just disappointed; I’m angry. This is unacceptable, and I have zero trust in buying from Best Buy again.
To be crystal clear, this is not a situation where it was delivered to my door and then stolen. The carrier marked it as delivered around 9 PM, but it was not delivered to my door. Instead, it was left downstairs in a shared common area of my apartment building—a high-risk location at that hour.
Our building has clear signage requiring door delivery, and my shipping address includes my unit number—yet the driver ignored these instructions. The box also clearly showed the brand, making it obvious this was a high-value item. Leaving an expensive package unattended in a shared area late at night is unacceptable and unsafe, and it creates a predictable risk of loss.
Best Buy chose to work with this carrier, and the result is that the product was not actually delivered to me. Keeping my money while refusing to fix a failed delivery is unacceptable.
