They racially profile people here. Security walked over and began to watch me as I was shopping. There was no security there when I walked in. He said he was watching me because I’m black and he’s racist. I told the guy who approached, John, what he said and he said no he didn’t and I needed to leave. The security and a guy named John told me I was trespassing and asked me to leave for absolutely no reason. They then proceeded to lock me in the store. All the employees laughed as they did this, mind you not a single one is black. They proceeded to call the police for absolutely no reason!

It's a two-story facility, with so much inventory. You have to park in the street or park in the back

Useless making an appointment. Went out of my way on my lunch break and they couldn’t fix my phone. They had my number and email - they should have contacted me. They seem friendly.

I have been a loyal (Best Buy Total) member for many years. I have purchased lots of big ticket items online from appliances to electronics. My latest was large TV. Being in need of a wall mount I decided to head into the Sherman Oaks store to make my purchase today to mount my television this afternoon. Instead I got insulted, pressured and into a ridiculous verbal argument with some guy remotely qualified to deal with customers or be on a sales floor. It was a nasty salesperson in the TV dept whose name was Frank.
Frank was aggressive and condescending. I did research on the mount I wanted before heading down to the store to save time and be in and out. But instead of selling me the item, we ended up in a heated argument as he was trying to upsell me and feed me lies about the product I was intending to buy. He was ill-mannered, ill-tempered and has made me want to stick to shopping online from now on. Frank is the reason the Best Buy brick and mortars are closing down and customers are migrating online.
So I went down the street to a different retailer and made the same purchase - hassle free!
AVOID THIS STORE! Terrible customer service. Save the hassle by ordering online. Or better yet - simply shop at another retailer that offers the same products at equal or lower prices like Costco, Target or Amazon!
Sorry Best Buy - it's employees like Frank that will ultimately be the end of your physical stores.
