I appreciate and value the professionalism and respect the woman who works in the computer sales section of the store on 6/13/2026 ( Saturday).
She assisted in signing me up for a best buy credit card ( store use only ), Acer Predator Helios gaming laptop $2,000 + Samsung SSD $200.
The neckbeard man who claim to be the manager was upset / emotional because I was not interested in getting coverage on the computer. I was trying to be curious to spare his time and I’m set on what I want prior to coming into the store. The coverage plan was not on my interest.
He makes a remark about replacing the screen alone would cost ~$900.00. So I responded “I’d just buy a brand new one if something like that would occur.” His response was “yeah, okay. You’re using a credit card to buy this current laptop.”
What a poor choice of words and poor representation of Best Buy. You want your peers to speak this way to customers expecting a consumer to get coverage / apply for the Best Buy credit card?
As I mentioned initially, the woman who assisted me was very professional and ensured I’d get a Best Buy credit card and continue forward with the transaction. Because of her positive attitude Best Buy made a sale of $2,200.00
You’d expect that type of professionalism from the manager. So I end this review by saying the laptop works flawlessly, the customer service by the woman who assisted me was 10/10. The manager has work to do on his sales pitch and Handling his emotions.
Maybe the manager should be demoted and the position should be given to a more suitable candidate!
Great Customer Service! Young man named George was very helpful and helped me rebuild my PC. That guy needs a raise he was so helpful. I will always go back and ask for his help. Super Cool dude!!
Not a bad Best Buy. Staffs are mostly friendly when I go buy something. I would have give a 5 star but the security guards always follow me around when I look around the store. I don’t know if it’s because I look intimidating or because they suspect me as a thief.
