The employees were all very busy Not with customers, just chatting amongst themselves. Couldn't be bothered to help customers. One of the floor chatters actually rolled her eyes when I asked for help.

The selection of electronics at this store is impressive, and the staff is generally helpful when you have questions. However, the checkout lines can get pretty long, especially during peak hours, which can be a bit frustrating. Overall, it's a decent place to shop for tech gadgets.

This Best Buy, like many Best Buy locations across Northern California, needs to do a much better job managing lines for limited releases. Customer safety should be taken seriously, especially when people are waiting outside for hours early in the morning for high-demand products. There have already been serious physical confrontations in front of Best Buy locations across California over limited releases, and ignoring the issue creates a foreseeable safety risk. When a store allows people to use “ghost chairs,” hold spots for others, or have friends and spouses show up at the last minute, it disrespects the customers who have physically been waiting in line for hours and increases the chance of arguments or confrontations. Best Buy should have a clear system in place for limited releases: employees monitoring the line, checking who is actually present, preventing last-minute line jumping, and enforcing a fair first-come, first-served policy. Customers should not have to police the line themselves or risk confrontation just to protect their spot. This is not just about Pokémon cards or collectibles. It is about safety, fairness, and basic respect for customers who show up early and follow the rules. Best Buy needs to take responsibility and implement better line management before another situation escalates.
