I had a problem with an Apple MacBook from another retaler and had to return it. Problem was, I had a meeting with my faculty advisor the next day and a class presentation the day after that. Both must be done on zoom but I had NO laptop!
So I came here to see if they could help me out. Immediately team members welcomed me to the store and offered to help with my problem. They offered me several solutions to my issue of needing a laptop ASAP. I ended up being able to purchase and take home a new MacBook immediately. I was out of there in about 15 minutes. And an hour later I had all my data transferred and was working on my presentation. Most importantly they saved me money over the other retailer. WOW! This is the customer service and expertise you get at an brick and mortar electronics store in your neighborhood. Could not have had this experience with Amazon!!
Thank you Eric and the-guy-in-the-apple-shirt, you know who you are!
They need to enforce consistent policies regarding Pokemon cards. On a previous visit they allowed everybody in front of me to purchase 4 items each, then when it was my turn they lowered that limit to 2 each instead, to make sure more people in the line would be able to get some. I certainly want everybody to be able to get some, but they need to enforce the same limit for everybody, not change it halfway through. In the past, they have also enforced a per-household limit, so scalpers can’t use their young children as pawns to purchase 2, 3, 4, or 5x the amount they should be allowed. Today, they allowed the first few people to purchase 4 items each even though they had much less stock than in the past, and they didn’t enforce the per-household limit either, so 2 groups of scalpers were able to completely clear out their entire stock. 75% of the normal people who were trying to collect or get gifts for their kids, who were waiting there for hours, left empty-handed because of this. Please don’t cater to the scalpers!
