I specifically contacted Best Buy support chat to book an appointment for replacing my iPhone XS battery, clearly stating the exact reason for my visit. The support representative assured me the battery replacement would take about 2 hours, which I was perfectly fine with. When I arrived at Geek Squad, they classified my phone as "vintage" and said they would need to order the battery from Apple—a 2-3 day wait that I was willing to accept. However, they then insisted on keeping my phone while waiting for the battery to arrive. How is it reasonable to expect someone to surrender their phone for several days just to wait for a part? This policy is completely impractical. Had the support representative mentioned that they would need to order the part AND keep my phone during that time, I could have saved myself the trip. The lack of communication between Best Buy's support team and Geek Squad is unacceptable. This is my second disappointing experience with Geek Squad failing to properly handle Apple device battery replacements. Apple should seriously reconsider authorizing Best Buy as an official repair/service center, as these experiences are damaging Apple's reputation for customer service.

I just wanted to know the aisle for a keyboard and mouse and asked one of the employee, He got mad at me and said “ I am serving other employee can’t you see it?” And just pointed the direction. He could have done that without saying that. I too was there to buy something. I just apologized and went straight out of the door. Later on found a good deal somewhere else.

Got there within 10 minutes of closing and was pleasantly surprised they didn't tell us to come back the next day, but we were ushered in. The salesperson tested is quickly and professionally and showed us the item we requested. It was the same salesperson that helped us about six months before, very courteous, polite and friendly. If this is a coincidence, I'm happy. But I feel that overall this place has good customer service.
