I went to the store shortly before closing and informed the staff that I would return about 10 minutes after closing to pick up a TV. There was no parking available at the time, so I had to walk back across the plaza to ask my coworker to help me with the pickup. The staff agreed that I could return the same day, just a few minutes after closing, to collect the order.
When I came back and went straight to the register to make the purchase, no one offered assistance, but I still completed the payment as planned. I then walked all the way back and asked my friend to go to the store to pick up the item. As soon as he arrived, one of the employees (Khyz) immediately ran to the back of the store and canceled my order without any explanation (I have the receipt with the time on it) saying the only solution was to come back the next day and make the purchase again.
This was extremely unprofessional. I had clearly explained the situation in advance, and the staff had agreed to it. Yet, they acted as if none of that mattered. Not a single apology was offered for the confusion or the inconvenience. I went there 2 times to buy a notebook and iRobot and in both none one helped me. Should learn from this episode that I’d have problems with the staff. I was treated with complete disregard, as if they couldn't care less whether they made a sale or not.
I will not be returning. They’re not doing customers a favor—stores need customers to stay open and keep staff employed. There are plenty of other places where I can shop. Terrible service.
Picking up item ordered and paid for online. Easy in and out experience.
