Credit to Geek Squad Chris. I’m a contractor, and tonight around 7 PM, I stopped by this Best Buy to check out some appliances. While I was there, I remembered that my iPhone’s Type-C port had been acting up—it often loses connection, especially when charging in my car, which has been quite frustrating. So, I walked over to the Geek Squad counter, where a young guy named Chris was patiently assisting an older gentleman. Even while helping that customer, he noticed me standing there and kindly invited me over. I handed him my phone, and after testing it briefly, he said it was most likely due to dust buildup. Well, that made sense—I work in environments where dust is common. Chris said he could clean the port for me but needed to finish helping the older gentleman first. In the meantime, he went to the back for a moment and then returned with my phone. I had assumed it was a connection issue, but it turned out to be something as simple as dust buildup. As a professional myself, I understand that sometimes an expert can take one look and fix an issue right away. I offered to pay, but he said there was no charge. This young man reminded me of the genuine warmth and professionalism that Californians are known for, reigniting my confidence in shopping at physical stores. Keep up the great work, Chris—may God bless you with a bright future!

The telephone experience is horrific.i was trying to get transferred to a car audio installation deck. I’ve called twice and I’ve waited for 15mins each time I called. No one even bothered to check in to see if I was helped. They just put me on hold and no one ever picked up. I would NOT. Suggest calling them if you want anything over the phone. I’m all the way out in Ventura country and I’m sure that by the time I even drive over there I still would be on hold.if I could give a zero star I totally would. They truly need to step up their customer Service. I tried to call to get a simple quote to help my mom whom lives in West Covina. But I had a lot better talking to someone in simi valley. Which they were busy but was still able to help me. West Covina Best Buy needs to learn from simi valley.
